Looking around and watching the world go by can be interesting. No, I’m not saying you should sit and do nothing in life but watch it pass by. You should occasionally though look at the story’s arc. I’ve had some time as of late to do that and if I were to sum things up in a single word it would be “Blur”. Technology is advancing so fast new becomes old by the time we’re having fun with it. Politics in American is a constantly shifting thing completely without focus or permanence. Party positions change so dramatically from election to election, new parties emerge (Green, Tea, Coffee) while older ones redefine themselves. One day a maverick the next not, for fiscal responsibility then oppose tax increases, positions regarding health care, immigration, bailouts all changing so fast you risk whiplash trying to keep up. Lines once marked, not in the sand but in our laws on issue such as abortion, marriage, illegal drugs, guns all blurring.

For whatever reason while chatting on Twitter I mentioned to Paul how my boy could say “No” better than his girl. So I shared this video with him as proof and told him it was my 1st round entry. Well, I started thinking that maybe others might have some great moments of “NO!!” they’d like to share. So here’s your chance. MMA bouts tend to be three rounds so I think that’s about all I’ll try capturing myself. Trust me, I get many opportunities to experience my boy emphatically tell me, his mom, and his older sisters, “NO!!”
As you can see in this round, it’s lunchtime. Since he’s confined to his highchair you’ve yet to get his “full bodied” version of “NO!!”
So go ahead and share what you have. If you’d like you can post it on twitter just be sure to add #NNOOOOO somewhere in your tweet.
No prize for the best one just plenty of smiles for everyone.

My nephew and niece do a little skit. Yeah, it’s long so feel free to skip around. This was part of Olivia’s report on Beowulf. She played the part of Grendel’s mother and her little brother played Ellen Degeneres. I think he nailed the opening. See for yourself. He loves the camera. Oh and the bloopers at 9:00 get me every time!!
